journal edition: safundi, 11, with some interesting reviews

The latest edition of Safundi: The Journal of South African and American Studies includes some pretty interesting reviews. District 9 (the 2009 film that director Neill Blomkamp insisted was not meant to convey a “political” message, but contains all sorts of settler colonial signposting) is given a roundtable review. Also, in the book reviews section, you can find a number of provocative new books given a working over.
