Abstract: The current Special Issue focuses on the Indigenous and Native American perspectives on mental health and well-being. This introduction highlights the need to explore how psychological health is conceptualized and operationalized among this population and the ways in which their mental health needs can be better met. The article also provides a brief review of each of the articles in the Special Issue.
